Abstract

A multi-band circularly polarized shared-aperture antenna is designed in this paper. The antenna covers five Bei-Dou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) bands and uses a stacked antenna structure. The coaxial lines run through the stack antenna structure to feed the antenna. The influence of the coaxial lines on the resonance of the bottom two-layer patch antenna is eliminated by introducing the isolation column structure. The simulation results of impedance bandwidth ( vert mathrm{S}11 vert leq 15 mathbf{dB}) and axial beamwidth meet the design criteria. This kind of antenna could be widely used in satellite communication.
