N2 - C4ISR system is the main part of the military electronic information system. Modeling and simulation provide a convenient method to realize this system. This method has an important role in military field, especially in joint coordinated operations and rapid response research field of the C4ISR system. This paper, firstly, analyzes the necessity of establishing the C4ISR system model and its usage. Then, the component units including combat model, sensor model, command and control model, communication and computer model, information model and information warfare model of the C4ISR system model and its interact manner in the running support system are deeply researched. Finally, the running process of the model was generally described and the trend of C4ISR system is proposed.
