Abstract
A general expression of instant output signal-to-noise for orthogonal space-time block code over fading channel at the receiver is shown. An estimate of the symbol error rate for orthogonal space-time block is shown and a minimum distance sphere bound of the symbol error rate is given, from which one can easily obtain the floor effect of the transmitting antenna number.
