Abstract
Based on the metrical data, an approximate conversion model between the space of RGB and Lab is set up. After analysing a large amount of measuring data, the 3D lookup table from the RGB space to the CIELAB space and the inverse table are established by programming. The positive lookup table is established on traditional interpolation method, while inverse table is established on the combination of the traditional interpolation and an innovative algorithm. Through the combined algorithm, the ideal RGB might be produced. The precision of inversive transform should be within 3 CIELAB color aberration divisions.
