Abstract
The calculation method of diffraction efficiency for the binary optical element of infrared hybrid optical system was introduced. Method of measurement was given. By using this method, a measurement system for diffraction efficiency of infrared hybrid optical system was designed. The diffraction efficiency of 3-5μm wavelength infrared hybrid optical system was measured, and the result was given. This measurement system has the actual meaning to the designing, machining and imaging quality evaluating of infrared hybrid optical system.
