N2 - To solve the optimization problem of pipe routing in complex mechatronic products, a knowledge-based automatic evaluation method was proposed. Based on the first-order predicate logic representation method of knowledge, the knowledge modeling for pipe routing's engineering constraints was made, and the evaluating structure was established. An automatic evaluating algorithm based on ASP was created, which realized pipes' automatic evaluation and its comprehensive optimization. An evaluating system software for pipe routing based on knowledge was developed, and its validity and practicability on one aircraft engine's hydraulic pipe system was illustrated.
