Abstract

This paper studied the influence of the by-pass and auxiliary combustion chamber system on the matching performance between engine and turbocharger. The simulation results indicate that the by-pass and auxiliary combustion chamber system can greatly improve the efficiency of turbocharger in low engine speed conditions. It will be an effective measure to improve the matching characteristics of engine and turbocharger in the dynamic operating conditions.
