Abstract

The law of ignition/initiation of anti-tank shaped charge warhead impacted by fragments was researched. The response characteristics of cylindrical charge and the relation between mass and velocity of fragment which causes the rapid reaction of charge were obtained by the impact of fragment on the cylindrical charge with thin aluminum shell. The ignition/initiation criterion of fragment against anti-tank shape charge warhead was obtained by analyzing the experimental results. The research results can provide the technical support for the design of active protection of tank and armored vehicle, and the research method can provide reference for correlative research.
