Abstract
In this work, Copper Indium Disulfide (CIS) nano-rods were produced by utilizing an anodized aluminum oxide (AAO) nano-mask. We produced CIS nano-rods of 100-200nm diameter standing on CIS thin film and on molybdenum thin layer to investigate different nano rods/substrate configurations. Copper, indium and sulfur were electrodeposited in to the AAO pores on the metal layer, followed by sulfurization. SEM and XRD characterization were performed and showed dense nano-rods of crystalline CIS.
