Abstract

The glycidyl azide polymer (GAP)/isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) system and GAP-IPDI/prepolymer/nitrocellose (NC) system were prepared. Their curing reaction kinetics was studied by FT-IR. The experimental results show that the reaction rates of the two systems increase with an increase in temperature. When the content of the curing catalyst T12 is 0.025%, the apparent activation energy of the curing reaction for the two systems are 64.88 kJ/mol and 111.19 kJ/mol, respectively, and the reaction appeares as second-order kinetic reaction.
