Abstract

Studies the main manufacturing characteristics (site error, longitudinal form error of parts) influencing the whole mechanism. The impact process of the escapement mechanism of the microminiature clock mechanism with unturned escapement is simulated through ANSYS/LS-DYNA with the finite element method. The extrema of two errors are obtained and the analytical results compared with the implicit-explicit sequential solution and explicit solution in order to select the more optimizational FEM model, so as to supply reliable basis for the design and assembly of parts, and ensure the reliability of microminiature mechanism under high load and at high rotational speed.
