Abstract

The experiment of low speed fuel delivery characteristics was carried out on an electronic unit pump tester. The changes of injection pressure and needle valve lift with different injection duration and cam speed was analyged, and the variation rule of cycle injection quantity at low speed was studied. The experimental results show that, when the electronic unit pump works at low speed, the injection pressure and needle valve lift have obvious fluctuation and decrease with the increase of cam speed. For different injection duration, the fluctuation rule of injection pressure and needle valve lift of the large injection duration is consistent with that of the small injection duration. At low speed, the cycle fluctuation of injection quantity of the small injection duration is less than that of the large injection duration, and decrease with the increase of cam speed.
