Abstract
A series of step-by-step experiments were performed. The charge was first loaded by shock wave, and then the damaged charge was impacted by fragment. The impact velocity thresholds were obtained the initiation of the undamaged and damaged charges under three different shock pressures. The results show that when the shock pressure is 1.12 GPa, the damage of the charge does not affect the impact velocity threshold to initiate the damaged charge under fragment impact; when the shock pressure is higher than 1.75 GPa, the initiation of the damaged charge under fragment impact is sensitized by its damage.
