Abstract

By summarizing the influence on insulator pollution surface flashover caused by environmental factors, such as weather, geographical location, industrial pollution, and ecological environment, this paper educes the universal laws of accumulating and wetting of surface pollution dirtiness at different conditions. Directions on programming of electric power equipment and protecting against pollution surface flashover are also investigated.
