Electrode kinetic of Li(Ni 1/3Co 1/3Mn 1/3)O 2 cathode material for lithium ion battery

Abstract

The compound of Li(Ni 1/3Co 1/3Mn 1/3)O 2 was synthesized by co-precipitation method. Its electrode kinetic was investigated by cyclic voltammety(CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS). The results of CV showed that there was no John-teller effect and reaction between electrode material and electrolyte in the Li(Ni 1/3Co 1/3Mn 1/3)O 2. The results of EIS showed that the charge transfer resistance R ct was decreased when the voltage increased and increased when the cycling number increased.
