Abstract

CO2 laser ignition facilities were employed to study the effect of GAP coating boron on the ignition characteristics of boron-based propellants. Other methods were used to study the combustion residues. Result shows that the method of GAP coating boron can increase the ignition ability and the combustion residues dispersion of boron-based propellants.
