Abstract

A method to get the traction battery dynamic performance test procedure is developed, which was based on actual running data statistic. The Beijing bus dynamic stress test(BBDST) cycle was established with this method. Thus dynamic performance test and its applicability evaluation for some applications become feasible. The standardized BBDST can be used for different vehicle types and variable battery pack with the battery size parameter. Practical use of BBDST procedure indicates more dynamic information of battery can be obtained through constant current discharge.
