Abstract

The degree of coherence of electronic transport through a quantum dot (QD) in presence of intradot electron-electron interaction, was investigated. It was observed that electrons inject only from source into the AB ring, and leave from drain and other four extra leads. It was observed that intradot interaction did not induce any dephasing effect and electron transport through QD is fully coherent using an open multiterminal Aharonov-Bohm (AB) setup. The asymmetric amplitude of the AB oscillation in conductance through two-terminal AB setup originated from interplay between confined structure and electron-electron interaction.
