Digital control for gear shift of tracked vehicle integrated transmission

Abstract

By analysis of shifting requirements of tracked vehicle integrated transmission, an electro-hydraulic digital shift control system integrating both functions of reversing and pressure regulating was designed. The regulating characteristics of the digital pressure regulating valve integrating both solenoid and pressure regulating valve were obtained with modeling. According to the clutch control requirements of single-element and double-element shifting of integrated transmission, a self-adaption control strategy was designed. The results of road test show that, the digital shift control system can improve the pressure cushion process of tracked vehicle integrated transmission, enhancing the smoothness of the shifting to better meet the requirements of the shifting quality control and the drive condition of the vehicle.
