Abstract

This paper reports development of the functionalized gripper for micro-manipulator. We have already developed the gripper that increased gripping efficiency without an operation support system To not only manipulate with normal physical contact but also analyze and apply signals, functions added and integrated to gripper. We could establish processing flow for functionalized gripper, and functionalized gripper with micro-heater and force sensor are could be fabricated. Since a number of applied researches for biochemistry applications have been studied utilizing micro-manipulation system versatility of biochemical applications will be expanded.
