Abstract

This essay designed the image acquisition and processing system of the color sorter based on FPGA. It completed the construction of the hardware platform and the design of the image processing algorithms. In the workflow, the system firstly collects the image information through the FPGA-controlled CCD image sensor, and then processes the image data through the algorithms. After the processing, the FPGA outputs the recognition results to the blowing control module to complete the screening function of the fast moving objects. To test the function of the design, the simulation and test of the system were carried out at the end of the essay. The results showed that the system had obviously improved the purity of the products.
