Correlation analysis of occupational stress and family support

Abstract

Objective to know the current status of occupational stress and family support in an enterprise and explore their correlation. Methods 914 production laborers who were on duty sampled by stratified cluster sampling were investing acted by Occupational Stress Inventory-Revised Edition (OSI-R) and Comprehensive Work Ability Index (CWAI). Results The Occupational Role Questionnaire (ORQ) score was lower than the product ion laborer group norm and had no statistic difference with the occupational stress norm of Southwest China. The Personal Strain Question naira (PSQ) score was lower than t he production n laborer group norm and higher than the occupational stress norm of Southwest China. The Personal Resource Questionnaire (PRQ) scare was lower than both 2 norms. 38.3 % of the investing acted laborers whose CWAI score was lower than 42. Both occupational stress and CWAI were influenced by many factors. CWAI correlated with several subscales of OSI-R, generally, nag actively associated with PSQ and ORQ and positively associated with PRQ. Conclusions Emphasis should be put on the frail group when intervening with occupational stress and CWAI, The work is still needed to be further strengthened in the work environment, task allocation, social support, health education, psychological counseling, family support and other aspects for Enterprises Occupational stress improvement should be conducted simultaneously with the CWAI import movement to obtain effective intervention outcome.
