Abstract

The effect of explosive characteristic on the mplitude of explosion seismic wave is studied by means of comparing experiments on ground motion caused by FAE and TNT located near the ground. The analyses of the experimental results show that explosive characteristic has a considerable effect on the amplitude of explosion seismic wave; it almost has no effect on the frequency of seismic wave. The range of main frequency is 5 - 25 Hz. Meantime, the maximum vibration velocity induced by FAE is higher than that by TNT at the same distance, which shows a good application prospect of FAE in martial field.
