Abstract
The automatic division technique for three-dimensional finite element was proposed to facilitate the development of general computer program. By combining this technique with the sparse matrix technique, the solution procedure of three-dimensional finite element was significantly simplified and the solution efficiency was raised. The scattering characteristics for several discontinuous structures were calculated. By comparing the calculation results with the experimental data, the reliability and practicality of the program were verified.
