Abstract

Measurement results of the different minor hysteresis curves were given when pulsed current varied periodically. The mathematic models of minor hysteresis curves were established by two methods. For these two methods, one was a simulation method based on Preisach model, and established mathematical model on the basis of the numerical values on the limit hysteresis loop, turning points and correction coefficients. The other one was curve fitting method. Through the changes of pulsed current peak values and the turning points values, the mathematical relationship between fitting functions of different minor hysteresis curves was established. The simulation results show that the first method is simple, and has a wide application range as well a good generality. The second method is complicated, it needs to establish curve fitting functions, and has a high simulated accuracy. The two methods both can effectively simulate the minor hysteresis curves under different pulsed current excitation.
