Abstract
In this paper, the theoretical basis of eliminating the effect of time jitter by deconvolution method is given. It indicates that the impulse response of the compensative filter is the Probability Density Function (PDF) of the time jitter with negative variable, p(-t), and meanwhile, verifies the feasibility of Gan's empirical method when the distributed function of the jitter is symmetric and the mean is 0. In the end, the mean and the variance of the system output caused by non-ideal averaging are also analysed.
