Abstract
Anti-ship missile is a serious menace for warships. Specific examples of warships destroyed by anti-ship missiles are analyzed. Recent research progresses are investigated in five aspects: prototype testing, guidance and attenuation of the shock wave, reducing damage of structure, defense of explosion fragments, specification and standards, and evaluation methods. Proposals on the support system of basic scientific research, numerical evaluation system, standard system, experimental assessment system and the system of product research and development in China are presented.
