Abstract

Aiming at the requirement in the initiator's firing reliability, the upper limit of 100% p firing level and the confidence interval of the function margin were given on basis of an optimal experiment design for estimating 100% p firing level. Then, a qualification method for the firing reliability of initiator was provided. Simulation study shows that, based on the optimal experiment design with small sample size, the estimation of 100% p firing level is precise and the result of reliability qualification is reliable but conservative a little bit.
