Abstract

This paper proposes a geo-rectification method for Space-Surface Bistatic SAR (SS-BiSAR). The geo-distortion model for SS-BiSAR is analyzed and ground control points (GCP) are selected to construct equations about the position and velocity of satellite. Then these parameters are estimated by solving the equations and finally used to realize geo-rectification of the SAR image. This method is independent to the prior information and is easy to apply. The effectiveness is verified through processing experimental data.
