Abstract

A novel metal-organic framework (MOF), the first 3D 1,3-thiazolidine-2-thione (tzdtH) coordinated MOF with strong Ag-Ag interaction (2.9001 Å) in tetranuclear silver clusters, was synthesized. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction shows that the versatile ligand tzdtH contributes greatly to the formation of the 3D framework and the helical structure.
