Abstract

Aiming at the demand for accurate and fast extraction of autonomous optical navigation information for small body exploration, the necessity of using image information to extract optical navigation features is elaborated. Firstly, the main problems of optical navigation feature recognition and extraction of small bodies are analyzed; then the key technologies involved in optical navigation feature recognition and extraction of small body exploration are summarized and analyzed based on the characteristics of target imaging at each phase of small body exploration; finally, according to the key technologies combined with existing problems and future development needs, the development trend of optical navigation feature recognition and extraction for small body exploration is analyzed and prospected.
