His main research direction is the design and research of intelligent vehicle and traffic system. In the past five years, he has published 30 academic papers, including 15 SCI papers. Participated in writing 1 academic book; Applied for more than 10 national patents; Won the Best Paper Award of important academic conferences once; He has presided over 5 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Science Fund project, the National Key Research and Development Program sub-project, the National Key Laboratory open Fund, and the pre-research project of the Space Academy. Core personnel to participate in a number of research projects including national key research and development programs, National Natural Science Foundation projects, enterprises and institutions cooperation projects.

For intelligent vehicles, traffic systems and special equipment, the research focuses on vehicle system dynamics and unmanned control technology. The main research directions include:
(1) Longitudinal - vertical - lateral coupling dynamics of vehicle wire control chassis
(2) Motion planning and trajectory tracking control of intelligent vehicles under mixed driving conditions
(3) Multi-objective Cooperative optimization control of intelligent variable configuration platform
