Zhang Ruo-yao is a pre-appointed assistant professor and special associate researcher at the School of Medical Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology. He has a multidisciplinary research background in materials, chemistry and biology, and his main research areas are the development of biofluorescent materials based on aggregation induced luminescence (AIE) and their applications in biomedical/aerospace biomedical fields. He has published more than 30 SCI papers, H index 20, and authorized 2 national invention patents. Bear one project of National Natural Science Foundation and one project of Beijing Institute of Technology. He teaches the postgraduate course Molecular Probes and Medical Imaging.
