Hu Bin, Executive Dean of the School of Medical Technology, Executive Dean of the Institute of Medical and Industrial Integration, professor, doctoral supervisor. In 2011, he was selected as the national "Overseas High-level Talent Introduction Program", 973 chief scientist, enjoying the special government allowance of The State Council, IET Fellow of the British Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET Fellow), IEEE Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE Fellow), and AAIA Fellow of the Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Society (AAIA Fellow).
He has been engaged in research on wearable computing, emotional computing, and psychophysiological computing for a long time, and presided over major key projects such as the National 973 Program, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, a number of digital mental health projects of the EU and the UK, and the national transformative technology "Early identification and Intervention technology for mental disorders based on psychophysiological multimodal Information". Published more than 400 conference and journal papers, and was listed as a highly cited scientist in Clarivate 2020 and 2021; Granted 18 invention patents, National Class II medical device License in 2021, Gansu Province Patent Inventor Award in 2020, National Patent Gold Award in 2019, National Technology Invention Second Prize in 2018, and First Prize in Technology Invention of the Ministry of Education in 2016; He won the 2014 Chinese Overseas Chinese Innovative Talent Award and was named the National Advanced Worker in 2020.
