Ancong Wang is an associate professor and master tutor of Beijing Institute of Technology. He received his Ph.D. from Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands. He has been engaged in computer-assisted research on cardio and cerebrovascular interventional diagnosis and treatment decision-making, and medical image analysis using machine learning, deep learning and other tools. He has presided over National Natural Science Foundation projects, National Natural Science Foundation Youth projects, National Natural Science Foundation key projects, and key research and development plan sub-projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and published more than 20 conference and journal papers. He served as the youth Committee member of Vascular Medicine Specialty Committee of Chinese Research Hospital Society and the Youth Committee member of Medical Physics Branch of Chinese Medical Engineering Society. As a reviewer for journals such as Pattern Recognition Letters, Computerized Medical Imaging and Graphics, Scientific Reports, and international conferences such as MICCAI and SPIE. The in vivo quantitative analysis algorithm, biodegradable stent quantitative analysis algorithm and coronary heart disease risk assessment algorithm developed by the company have been applied in the commercial medical analysis software of Medis, Siemens Healthcare and other companies to serve clinical research.
Computer Aided Medical diagnosis and treatment, Medical image/signal analysis, pattern recognition, Machine learning, Deep Learning
Current research: Combined with medical imaging, pattern recognition and artificial intelligence technology, the detection and analysis of coronary heart disease and ischemic stroke responsible lesion plaques; With the help of multi-modal cross-scale image fusion, the different pathological components of atherosclerotic vessels can be automatically identified and segmented. By using pattern recognition and deep learning algorithms, metal-based heart stents implanted in the body were detected and reconstructed, and a new generation of biodegradable stents were quantitatively degraded and tracked to achieve a quantitative evaluation of the supporting force of various stents.
