摘要

By means of determining the fractal dimension of deposition shape formed in the plasma spray process, the method to investigate the macro properties of Functional Gradient Materials(FGM) quantitatively using the numerical simulation results is studied in this paper. On the basis of the simulation results of splat shape, the whole microstructure of FGM can be modeled theoretically. Combining the fractal dimension, which is determined from the simulated deposition shape, with the relationship between fractal dimension and macro properties of the actual coating, the relationship between microstructure and macro properties will be established. As a result, the properties of FGM can be controlled successfully.
