摘要
The detailed numerical simulation has been carried out to investigate the effect of synthetic jet excitation on the secondary flow at 5° incidence in a compressor cascade, in which the synthetic jet actuation is equipped with on the suction surface and endwall. The results show that desirable synthetic jet delays the separation and effectively enhances the mixing of the fluid inside the separation region, which reduces the vortex intensity and the total pressure loss, improves the flow status in the cascade. The unsteady disturbance also suppresses velocity fluctuation in endwall corner region of the exit section. Additionally, actuation mode, actuation position and actuation intensity (actuation area) have great impact on the control effect. Compared with hole actuation, slot actuation exhibit better acting ability because of its larger actuation area.
