摘要

The physical characteristic of target detection based on polarization imaging technology is introduced. Application advantages of polarization imaging technology are outlined. The domestic development of target detection research based on polarization imaging technology is concisely summarized and some problems are pointed out. Then the main achievements in this domain for other countries are specified. The research progress is summed up, some issues are put forward and the prospect in this field is predicted.
