Study on the velocity estimation methods for conical scan inverse-V-shape stepped-frequency signal

摘要

As a simple and practical high-resolution radar system, conical scan stepped-frequency (CSSF) radar is sensitive to velocity because of its intrinsic properties and mechanism. In this paper, we analyse the effect of the radial velocity on the CSSF signal, focus on the possible methods to estimate the velocity more precisely based on the inverse-V-shape stepped-frequency signal, as well as the influence of the conical scan on the methods, which are proved to be precise and feasible by computer simulation and measured data processing results.
