摘要

The theoretical foundation of vein recognition and the differences between vein recognition and other biometrical recognitions are introduced. The acquisition principle of vein images is introduced. Pre-processing on vein images is studied according to the characteristic of veins. The pre-processing of vein images is composed by two steps: the standardization and the binarization, which are introduced respectively. The method of dynamic threshold value is proposed for the binarization of vein images, and a good result is gotten.
