摘要

Based on analysis of the characteristics of Virtual Assembly Process Planning (VAPP), an Integrated VAPP (IVAPP) system was proposed. The architecture and basic workflow of this IVAPP system were introduced and the key techniques of this IVAPP system including virtual assembly model, knowledge navigation in assembly operation process and process visualization in assembly workshop were discussed. Recently, this IVAPP system has been applied in assembly process planning of aerospace-related products to validate the feasibility of the proposed method.
