Stability study of the voltage source inverter and traction induction machine drive system feeding on a lead-acid traction battery package

摘要

A cyclic coefficient linear model of the voltage source inverter and traction induction machine drive system feeding on the lead acid traction battery package is built. Under the constant speeds, the factors in the stability of cyclic switch mode of the induction machine drive system are analyzed based on Lyapunov's stability theory. By simulation, the smaller dynamic resistance of the lead-acid traction battery package, the bigger filter capacitance of the DC-Link circuit, the bigger stator resistance and the smaller rotor resistance of the induction machine is being found helpful to expand the speed stable areas of the drive system. While, the mutual inductance of the induction machine has a little influence on the system stability. The smaller slip of the induction machine can enhance system stability. If these electrical parameters are selected properly, a whole stable speed range can be ensured. It benefits in avoiding the propulsion system oscillation in the electrical engineering applications such as electric vehicles.
