摘要

In this study, the performance of irregular QAM formats under laser phase noise was evaluated. Simulation results demonstrate notable performance improvement of up-to 0.89-bit/symbol over conventional cross-shaped odd-bit and probabilistically-shaped even-bit QAM formats.
