摘要
In order to investigate the effect of spray angle on diesel performance, three-dimensional numerical simulation of different spray angle combustion process was completed by STAR-CD. The results show that spray spatial distribution in the chamber and fuel impinging on the wall depend on the spray angle, which effects the fuel's atomization and combustion. When impinging distance increases, fuel has much time to atomize. When impinging angle reduces, the ability of fuel spreading on the wall becomes intense, which is favor to mixture formation. When the space of combustion chamber is divided by spray symmetrically, the mixture is homogeneous and the fuel burns well.
