Robust Control Strategy for PMSMs Based on Model Predictive Control and Extended State Observer

摘要

This paper proposes a novel control strategy for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) systems by integrating model predictive control (MPC) with an extended state observer (ESO). The ESO estimates and compensates for external disturbances and parameter uncertainties in real-time, enhancing control accuracy, robustness, and disturbance rejection. The proposed control strategy, which combines MPC and ESO, achieves notable improvements in performance. It demonstrates faster transient response, reduced overshoot, and superior disturbance rejection compared to traditional methods in simulations. Additionally, experimental tests confirm its superiority over the PI controller. Consistent simulation and experimental results highlight the practical applicability and reliability of the proposed control strategy, making it a promising solution for high-precision and robust PMSM applications.
