Research on the Integration of Intellectual Property Literacy into the Teaching of Industrial Design Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice

The achievements of industrial design innovation and entrepreneurship practice activities need to be transformed into high-quality intellectual property rights to generate actual value. Currently, there is a lack of intellectual property literacy in the industrial design innovation and entrepreneurship practice teaching system in our country, making it difficult for the teaching outcomes to create high-value intellectual property. This paper systematically summarizes the three levels of intellectual property literacy related to industrial design innovation and entrepreneurship practice activities. Starting with the mainstream method of industrial design innovation and entrepreneurship practice activities, which is industrial design competitions, this paper proposes feasible strategies for integrating intellectual property literacy into industrial design competitions for both universities and enterprises, so as to promote the transformation of the outcomes of industrial design competitions into high-quality and high-value intellectual property.
