Research on the bubble motion in underwater explosion

摘要

A model for a moderately deep underwater explosion bubble in inviscid and irrotational fluid is developed. Equations of motion (EOM) for bubble in incompressible fluid are established by using the potential-flow theory, the energy equation and the Lagrangian equation. By considering the effects of the gravity, the buoyancy, the drag to the motion of bubble, a new EOM for bubble is established according to the Hamilton principle and the boundary-integral equation. The radial displacement histories and impulse periods of bubble were acquired by solving the EOM. By comparison, it is shown that our results are in good agreement with the experimental results.
