Research on real time compensation technology of FOG temperature drift

摘要

Temperature drift of FOG has a great impact on the performance of inertial navigation system. The method is presented to compensate the temperature error of FOG in real time under high ambient temperature. A mathematical model between the gyro output and temperature, the temperature change rate is yielded, whose parameters is determined through stepwise regression analysis. It can reach the aim of real-time compensation by using the model to correct the gyro data and enhance the practical accuracy and environmental adaptability of FOG under high ambient temperature. The result of the measured data processing shows that the principle of this method is right, and it can achieve a good compensation effect in the situation of large temperature variation, especially in the case of fast temperature change rate.
