Research on assembly task based virtual assembly process model

The process oriented virtual assembly process planning system brings forward new requirements for the assembly process model. Based on the assembly process data being analyzed in the process of virtual assembly planning, the Assembly Task (AT) concept was proposed and analyzed. A Hierarchical Assembly Task Link (HATL) was put forward, and by HATL, the assembly process data in the process of virtual assembly planning could be recorded effectively. The relationship between HATL and assembly process model was established. At last, a prototype system was established and has verified the research result.
