摘要

A method is proposed in this paper to correct the angule errors in polarimetric radar crossecton section(RCS) calibration. Using the rotating dehidral as the calibration device will lead to the angle errors exist. In the actual polarimatric calibraton process, because of the registration of calibration device and the limitation of turntable, the angle errors must be exist, which will produce a bad effect in obtaining the ideal RCS. For the dehidral which is aligned with the radar viewing line, its cross-polarization is zero, so once the angular errors exist, the cross-polarization item doesn't equals zero, which can be used to obtain the errors. This paper is organizes as follows. First, in ideal condition, the cross-polarimetric radio of transmit-receive matrix is calculated. Following this, for the given angular errors within certain limits, the cross-polarimetric radio of transmit-receive matrix containing angle errors is calculated again, which is the function of angular errors and reaches minimum value in the position of real angle error. The angle error value can be read in the figure quickly. Lots of theoretical simulations have proved the effectiveness of the method.
